Transparent, Fair, and Efficient Examination System
The Examination Cell at LNCP oversees all academic assessments, ensuring smooth conduct of examinations, timely results, and secure academic records management.
The examination system at Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy is designed to be transparent, fair, and objective, ensuring that student performance is assessed accurately and consistently.
The examination system follows a continuous evaluation pattern with mid-semester exams (30% weightage), end-semester exams (50% weightage), and internal assessments (20% weightage) including assignments, quizzes, and lab work.
A minimum of 75% attendance in each subject is mandatory for appearing in end-semester examinations. Students with 65-74% attendance may apply for condonation with medical documentation.
Absolute grading system is followed based on the student's performance. Grades range from O (Outstanding, 90%+) to F (Fail, below 40%). A minimum of 4.0 SGPA is required for promotion to the next semester.
Students can apply for answer script revaluation within 15 days of result declaration. Supplementary examinations are conducted within 45 days for students who failed in up to 4 subjects.
Strict anti-malpractices measures are in place including CCTV surveillance in exam halls, multiple question paper sets, and a disciplinary committee to handle any misconduct during examinations.

Results are typically published within 15-20 working days after the completion of examinations. Students receive SMS and email notifications when results are published. The online portal provides access to semester-wise grade sheets, consolidated transcripts, and CGPA calculations.

Semester Grade Point Average calculated as weighted average of grade points earned in a semester divided by total credits attempted.
Cumulative Grade Point Average across all semesters. Minimum 5.0 CGPA required for degree conferral.
Equivalent percentage can be calculated using the formula: CGPA × 9.5 for conversion to percentage marks.
The Examination Cell issues various academic documents and certificates. Applications can be submitted online through the student portal.
Detailed grade sheet for each semester with subject-wise marks, credits, grade points, SGPA, and overall CGPA. Issued within 15 days of result declaration.
