Formulation Science & Dosage Form Design
The Pharmaceutics Laboratory at Lakshmi Narain College of Pharmacy (LNCP), Indore is a state-of-the-art facility designed for comprehensive training in formulation development, dosage form design, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The lab is equipped with modern instruments for solid, liquid, semi-solid, and sterile dosage form development.
Students gain hands-on experience in tablet compression, capsule filling, coating, granulation, and formulation of liquid orals, parenterals, and topical preparations following GMP standards.
Lab Infrastructure
Solid Dosage Form Section
Fully equipped with tablet compression machine, capsule filling machine, fluid bed dryer, rapid mixer granulator, coating pan, and multi-mill for solid dosage form development and manufacturing.
Liquid & Semi-Solid Section
Homogenizer, colloid mill, ointment filling machine, liquid filling machine, and mixing vessels for formulating syrups, suspensions, emulsions, creams, and ointments.
Sterile Formulation Section
Laminar air flow workstations, autoclave, HEPA filtered area, ampoule/vial filling, and sealing equipment for parenteral and ophthalmic product development.
Quality Control Section
Dissolution test apparatus, disintegration tester, friability tester, hardness tester, and stability chamber for in-process and finished product quality evaluation.
